Klevr Furniture is nearly unbreakable. Our furniture is made from what is arguably the strongest plywood on earth - Finnish birch plywood. This material combined with more than fifteen years of experience designing tool-free furniture means that our furniture stands up to abuse. We don't have long thin spindly strips of wood that can be kicked with your foot and cracked or broken off, and we don't use MDF or particle board that can easily be broken or that is susceptible to moisture from humidity or a spilled drink or juice box. And the Finnish birch plywood is hardwood throughout, not just on the surface like cabinet-grade plywoods. Our 5/8 inch thick boards have eleven alternating plys of birch hardwood for strength and dimensional stability.
Panels are replaceable. Because all Klevr Furniture utilizes tool-free designs, any panel can be replaced by simply disassembling an article of furniture, tossing the old panel in the trash and re-assembling the furniture with the new replacement panel. So should you scratch up a panel or should your kids decide to permanently re-decorate some for you with colored Sharpies, it's easily replaced.
Our plywood has a closed-pore finish, so it is impervious to surface spills. And because we use plywood and not MDF or particle board, moisture does not affect the strength of the furniture should the edges get wet. The plywood we use has an interior-quality glue so it is not well-suited to prolonged outdoor use, but normal indoor humidity and moisture will have no affect on the strength of the wood. Once it dries out again, it's as good as new.
It's easy to move. If you live in an urban environment and need to move items up flights of stairs, you can carry Klevr Furniture piece by piece without having to hire movers and navigate an umpteen-hundred pound piece of furniture up narrow stairways, around corners and through doorways.
You can transport it in almost any vehicle. Really.
